Description I was admitted to the hospital for a routine admission for cystic fibrosis. My husband Isaac couldn't visit because of COVID restrictions at that time. His body was so sad to be away from me, so his body created a blood clot so that he could get admitted in the room across from me. True love. <3 I'm not going to focus on what COVID took away. I've lost way more to cystic fibrosis. When my husband got COVID and developed a P.E. as a complication our relationship did a 180. I was worried about him and his pulmonary health. He found out what it's like to be out of breath from just sitting, from not having energy because the body is fighting infection and not getting enough oxygen. I hate that he got COVID, but because he got COVID we learned how to empathize with each other. COVID gave me insight into what he goes through worrying about me.
