Description A 64 year old female presented with one week of painless visual loss 00. Visual acuity was 20/200, an afferent pupillary defect was detected and a cecocentral scotoma was present. The optic disc showed pale edema, accompanied by a small cilioretinal artery occlusion. The erythrocyte sedimentation rate was 21 (N=1 to 20).
