Eccles, member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, relating to his address at the 58th commencement of the Utah State Agricultural College on 4 June 1951. Most were expressions of appreciation and requests for copies of the speech. Some had more substantial comments, including a letter from retired General Herbert C. Holdridge, then running for President. Includes a scan of an 8-page printed statement by Holdridge entitled, "Stop the War!" referring to the Korean conflict. |
