Description The past few years have seen many many changes in well established, firmly rooted educational traditions. College have revised, eliminated here, added there until the so-called curriculum, as it use to be known, has well nigh passed out of existence. Especially, in this controversy between the old and the new, has Greek been attacked, yet in a way it has done the language more good than harm. In fact, it has been of incalculable benefit to Greek, because it has aroused an interest in its position both in the ancient, and with what we are more concerned just now, in the modern world.
