Green River--Jensen, Utah; Dinosaur National Monument |
Description |
This is the Green River viewed towards the west. The road from Jensen to the monument is at the base of the slopes in the distance. The large cottonwood to the right (called Lone Tree by the Douglass family) is almost due south of the quarry and features prominently in several photographs taken by Earl Douglass. It's wide spreading branches provided abundant shade for picnics. Photo is located on page 135 of the Jensen, Utah Book. |
