Black and white photograph of children with goats and home-made carts, probably in a Uintah County mining camp. Ed Yourdon's notes: "I really don't know anything about this photo -- no idea when it was taken, or where. Technically, these are not sleds -- since they have wheels in the back. But they do look home-made. And I guess the goats decided to cooperate as best they could. You'll notice two shadows in the foreground, on the left. One of them is presumably the person who took the photograph, though I don't know who that might have been. The background gives me the impression that the photo was taken in one of the little mining camps in eastern Utah." |
