| Description |
A primitive area forest fire in the Squaw Basin of the High Uintahs (North of Duchesne) exceeded the original estimates. This prompted the decision to suppress the fire. It burned 2,910 acres instead of the original estimation of 160 acres. The aerial photograph shows some of the wilderness area burning. |
