Amtrak (National Railroad Passenger Corporation) diner lounge 39985 at the Salt Lake City Depot now used by Amtrak. Car was built for the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company for use on its "El Capitan" train. Car used on the Seattle - Salt Lake City leg of The Pioneer train which has a coach and a sleeper forwarded to Chicago (or returned) by The California Zephyr. Photo taken in 1988 by Mike B. Davis.
