Negotiations with the Navajo Natign for an exchange of land were delayed because of changes in personnel at Window Rock. The situation seems to be resolving itself and now all we need is an Act of Congress to allow the Bureau of ' Land Investigation to effect the exchange,af'ter which we shall be ready to begin to ; erect our chapel. . . . Some one says: "I thought you had a chapel". True. It is a lovely hogan, but it M1S buil t some 23 years ago arid may not stand mny more of our rare but torrential rain storms. V.oreover last Christmas we had to forego the Offerto17 Procession because no one could 1-lalk, 1-1i th or wi thou; digni ty, from credence _ to altar and the gifts had to be handed over the heads of the people, from one to another as in a bucket brigadel 1-1e hope to · maintain St Eary of the Noonlight as a shrine as long as it stands. Mean\.Jhile, we push for1-'ard. for something more adequate. We h9pe you- will like the pictures of a "mock-up" or small model of the proposed church building 1-rhich we hope 1-rill be a 'Wi.tness to all 1-'ho pass by, telling of the eternal Gospel being preached to a primitive People. .
