Description We are all familiar with the concept that children are not just small adults but this statement may not be true for all disease processes. With this in mind, I suggest three reasons for reviewing children with pseudotumor separate from adults. Physicians may think children have different clinical features, etiologies, response to therapy and prognosis than adults, when In fact they are not different. Different evaluation techniques are required for children.
