Dr Sallama Al Khafaji and Sheikh Fateh Kashif Al-Getta generously hosted GJPI , Constitutional and Legislative Affairs (US Embassy) and Dean Ali Al-Rufaie for lunch on 12 March 2009. Sheik Fatah Kashif Al Ghetta is the director of the Al-Thaqalayn Center for Strategic Studies. His wife, Dr. Sallama Al Khafaji, a former member of both the Iraqi Governing Council and the Transitional National Assembly is focused on women's rights, health and education. Dr Ali Al-Rufaie, is the Dean of the Baghdad University College of Law which was founded in 1908 and is the oldest law school in the Middle East. Its graduates include Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani and Chief Justice Medhat Mahmood. |
