he Utes had four first place finishes at the day-long indoor meet. Freshman Autumn Spence placed first in the 200 meters with a time of 27.29 seconds followed by Tracy Hamblin and Alexandria Nash who placed second and fourth, respectively. Senior Elisha Kekacs set a new personal best time and had the top finish in the 400 meters at 59.38. Sophomore Audrey Kiser was notable for Utah placing fourth in the shot put (41' 1.75") and third in the weight throw (53' 10.25"). Kiser set a new personal best in the weight throw beating her old mark by more than three inches. Freshman Nephi Tyler won the men's 3,000 meters with a time of 8:53.45, followed by Chris Laman and Phil Stoddard placing seventh and 10th, respectively. Sophomore Teren Jameson, running in his first meet of the season, won the mile race with a time of 4:20.15. |
