Butch Cassidy rock was found by Cecil Boren in the Hoy Mountain area on Diamond Mountain. It was believed that the rock was marked by Butch Cassidy about the time he was released from prison after the Montpelier Idaho bank robbery. Program by Joe Winder Historical Society group of Vernal were in attendance. |
