Obituary Photo of Alvin Weeks. Alvin was born April 17, 1899 in Vernal, Utah. He worked as a barber and owned the Weeks Barber Shop (700 E Main). He helped organize and was the first president of the Uintah Basin Junior Livestock Show. He served on the Vernal Rodeo Committee as president, was a member of the Vernal Lions Club. He passed away at the age of 88 on July 2, 1987. He is buried in the Vernal Memorial Park. |
