Description Copies of letters to and from P. T. Reilly concerning the misnaming of the ferry run by Harrison Pearce, including documentation of the name. Includes a copy of two handwritten letters from Sylvia Pearce Philagios in 1971; and a letter dated15 April 1969 from J. O. Kilmartin of the U.S. Board on Geographic Names explaining why it is unlikely to change the name. (Since then, the name did change to Pearce Ferry.) The site was below Grand Canyon at today's Lake Mead.
