Corneal clouding has been noted rarely in association with Kearns-Sayre syndrome. We report a 37 year-old African American woman who presented to the Ophthalmology Service with decreased vision OU. Her vision loss was attributed to corneal stromal opacification; bilateral ptosis was noted incidentally, and further evaluation revealed diffusely limited extraocular motility without retinal abnormalities. |
