Description |
A group of people watch a CCC worker push rocks in preparation of building a reservoir. During the Great Depression, President Franklin Roosevelt innaugurad the CCC (Civil Conservation Corporation) to help accomplish the goals of relief, recovery and reform. The program provided jobs for unemployed young men from age eighteen to twenty-five. The CCC program provided a great resource and help for the communities they served. Water development was the most pressing need of the public. Many reservoirs were built within the Uinta Basin. |
