The Neuro-Ophthalmology Research Disease Consortium (NORDIC) has developed the IIHTT. This trial, funded by the NIH, has half of its 154 subjects enrolled. The clinical trial tests the hypothesis, in patients with mild visual loss, that treatment of IIH with diet and acetazolamide is superior to treatment with diet and placebo. |
