Description |
William H. Siddoway came to the Ashley Valley in 1988. He married Emily Dunster and they had nine children. William was very successful in the sheep industry. He served on the county and state Wool Growers Association. He was one of the incorporators of the Vernal Milling Company, Vernal Power and Light Company, Vernal Drug, Vernal Amusement Company and the Leslie Ashton Hardware Company. He was a county commissioner and president of the school board. He died October 24, 1950. At his funeral Walter Woolley said there was not a pulbic building in Vernal without William's time, money and ingenuity invested in it. |
