Description |
Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) or Devic's disease is an inflammatory demyelinating disorder of the central nervous system characterized by recurrent attacks of optic neuritis (ON) and longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis (LETM). New international consensus criteria of NMOSD (IPND) published in 2015 suggests that adult criteria could be used for pediatric. This case reports on the diagnosis and management of NMOSD in children. |
