Show has been married so many years, and has children, as Miss J. 3ays she has, - she has always been called Miss Ting Shu Ohing? I can't think of the husband's name, which Miss Johnson did mention. So I have just now referred to your letter again in which you told ma' of the material you have been collecting to write of Miss Ting, and you wrote Miss Ting Shu Chin#. Is there some mistake, and was she not thinking of the same young woman ?riio has been so prominent in Y.W.C.A. circles? She said the one she was talking about was connected with Y.W.C.A. We are looking to the coming of Hugh Vernon. White to our Church this week, as part of our Lenten services. I note by the Missionary Herald that Lan Hua is again in this country and that Mrs. Hausske is taking care of her baby girl again as she did of the other one that is now dead. Mrs. Hausske loved the other one so dearly and always called her " % dear li/ttle ^hina Doll." | Alice Did you receive a nice letter from Mies/Muggins last weak? Also I suppose you have received the copy of F3HCH0W tolling bf their 50th. Anniversary. I think Mrs. Pye sent mine to me. How fine that Alice Huggins did receive a prize for her Chinese music book, or for seven songs in it. - • x x ... I suppose Mr. and Mrs. Foster, Sr., arrived home yesterday. Your daughter-in-law - Mrs. Clarence Wagner - was to come with her parents and leave tonight on the t r a i n t o go back home. Mrs. Frank Foster i s to take a load of folks to Oakland t h i s week for the monthly meeting of the Fad. of Gong. Women of Northern Calif. Mrs. Frank F. has invited the Women's Federation of our Church to meet next noxith at her home, as she hopes the f r u i t blossoms may by than be t h e i r best. I must not write more now. Very cordially, &A^Azyy Would you like some stamps? I am oncloaing three of the British stamps with 3x-King Edward's picture on them. It 3eems to me pathetic that his crown is laid aside. Of course they could not have put in on his head in the pictures as he had not been crowned, and now he never will wear it. No, I did not see the printed letter from the Hinmans, as theydo not know me. Neither did I see what you speak of as "The Tucker card." <r.71B. |
