An early copy of this work on aṭrāf, complete with a subject index to the traditions. Incipit : "wa-baʻd, fa-hādhā kitāb raghghaba ilayya fīhi baʻḍ al-aʼimmah al-anjāb, ubayyin fīhi bi al-ʻazw wa-al-ḥukm al-muʻtabar mā ʻalá al-alsinah ishtahar ..." Colophon : "ākhir al-kitāb, wa-li-Llāh al-ḥamd ... ʻallaqahu bi-yadihi al-fāniyah ʻAlī ibn Aḥmad ibn ʻAlī al-Ṭaḥalāwī ... wa-kāna al-farāgh min kitābatihi yawm al-arbiʻāʼ al-mubārak sādis ʻashar Rabīʻ al-awwal sanat 980 ... " Clear naskh with rubrications; some marginal notes; 21 lines/p; laid paper; water-staining on the upper part of the first three quires, but without loss of text; binding: leather boards covered with cloth, spine missing; otherwise in excellent condition. |
