| Description | Joe Marsters and William C. Linn, are pictured on an outing with Esther Campbell. Joe Marsters came into Green River, Wyoming, when he was 14 years old after running away from home. He was introduced to LeRoy Parker (Butch Cassidy) and Harry Longabaugh, (Sundance Kid). He began helping them and became a part of their group. Marsters, an excellent horseman, traveled with a Wild West Show, was a professional rodeo cowboy, a movie extra for stars such as Will Rogers and John Wayne and was a goverment FBI agent (Pinkerton). He died May 15, 1978 at age 84 years old. William Linn is the Vice President of the "Pinkertons" Inc. in New York. Both men attended the Outlaw and Lawmen Rendevous in Vernal. |
