Men are seen working in the Newton Brothers Company leather shop. William and Ike Newton opened a boot repair shop in the early 1900's in Vernal. They later branched out to making harnesses, saddles and other leather items. The company was well known for the quality work done there. The Newton Brothers succeeded in their business despite the fact that one of them was blind and the other nearly blind. |
