Description Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is an inflammatory demyelinating disease of central nervous system. Patients typically present with optic neuritis (ON) or transverse myelitis. Characteristic MRI findings include extensively long lesions affecting optic nerve.
