Description Differentiating between papilledema and pseudopapilledema in the pediatric population is challenging for Neuro-ophthalmologists. Prevalence of well characterized signs of intracranial hypertension (IIH)1,2 has not been specifically tested in children with pseudopapillledema. We aimed to study if imaging differences in children with papilledema and pseudopapilledema could help differentiate the two, thereby avoiding lumbar puncture.
