Environmental Protection Agency correspondence on Bingham Creek, 1990s

Correspondence from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 8 office, Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation, and the Utah Department of Environmental Quality's Division of Water Quality concerning water quality issues on Kennecott property and vicinity and the Bingham Creek tailings removal project that began in 1992. Includes a photocopy of a letters from 1906 and 1907 concerning dumping of mine tailings in Bingham Creek; photocopies from a 1981 book, "The Bennion Family of Utah," with references to the ranch locations affected by the tailings; and data tables from a June 1993 report for Atlantic Richfield Company by Environmental Science & Engineering, Inc., entitled, "Removal alternatives evaluation report, ARCO Copperton tailings, Bingham Creek channel, site SSID #T8."
