Description |
Moyamoya disease, a rare steno-occlusive disease of arterial circle of Willis, is recognized as a cause of stroke in the young. Clinical presentations vary depending on the affected brain area. Ophthalmologic manifestations have been reported in this condition, mainly retinal vascular diseases and morning glory disc anomaly. Although homonymous hemianopia has also been described, the involvement of optic tract has never been reported. |
