Jon Hunstman Senior. Interview--Jon. M. Huntsman is the chairman and CEO of Huntsman Group, including Huntsman Chemical Corporation. The group oversees operations in almost forty locations around the globe and employs more than 5000 people. Huntsman graduated from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania, served in the US Navy, worked for the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare and served as special assistant and staff secretary to Richard Nixon. Huntsman has nine children including former Utah governor Jon Huntsman Jr. He is considered one of the foremost philanthropists in the world having donated over 1.2 billion dollars in charitable efforts in a variety of areas, especially focusing on cancer research.
