Description This is the first of two interview recordings featuring an interview of Dr. Cynthia Burrows. Cynthia Burrows is a distinguished professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Utah. In this interview, she discusses her early life growing up in Colorado and her first experiences with chemistry in high school, along with a number of aspects of her higher education and early career. In particular, she elaborates on her experiences working with NOAA and NCAR as a college student, her undergraduate research, the transition to grad school, and her methods for developing publications, among other things.
