Description Giant Cell Arteritis is the most common vasculitis in adults, its incidence increases with age, permanent visual loss is the most feared complication, so prompt diagnosis and treatment is of paramount importance. Usual symptoms at presentation are headache, jaw claudication, scalp tenderness, blurring of vision, anorexia, weight loss and fatigue.
