Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is currently used as an adjunctive, quantitative tool in the evaluation of patients with papilledema. Past studies have used analysis of the retinal nerve fiber layer thickness and the peripapillary total retinal thickness (PTR) for optic nerve edema. |
