This project was designed to provide an opportunity to apply finance and business principles in an actual business setting. In order to accomplish this, the child company, a commercial preschool/daycare center, was opened for business on April 2, 1984. The results of the author's application of finance and business principles in the framework of the child company operations will be compared with theories and concepts found in researching current finance and business literature. In addition, the project will seek to compile a successful strategic plan for taking the child company into the future. |
