Description |
Men work on the construction of the US Federal building, (Vernal Post Office) located at 100 West Main Street. The new building was the largest federal building in the United States that was located in an inland city. The white building across the street was the Whitmore Store. Whitmore also owned the two story building. The Bowling Alley was once housed there, then Colliers Pool Hall, and then Mode-O' Day. The last building on the left once was the home of the library; later Vonetta Seale had a dress shop here. |
