Description Imaging goals in Neuro-ophthalmology are earlier diagnosis to preserve vision, identification of structural predictors of outcome, and early structural indicators of improvement or progression over time in response to treatment. Different imaging modalities (multi-modal imaging) will help accomplish this, combined with new approaches for quantifying the spatial patterns of the retinal neural components.
