Description The diagnosis of thyroid ophthalmopathy (TO) is straightforward in patients with known thyroid dysfunction who present with lid retraction, chemosis, and proptosis. In such patients, serum Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (sTSH) levels and orbital imaging are often used to support the diagnosis.
