Credit: Anthropology Dept. University of Utah. Used in U.H.Q. Winder 1965. A kiva at the Steer Palace site in Castle Wash. Excavation cut at right reveals the maximum excavation by Indians which was then floored with prepared clay. The pillasters arount the bench supported a ground-level roof. |
