Description Digitized version of the KUTV Edit Tape Red 1333, from February 17th to March 29th, 1986. Edit tapes contain very short segments, sometimes with sound. This tape includes 25 segments, and they are as follows: [1] teachers protesting at the Utah Capitol. Utah Education Association; [2] footage of the Cherry Pie Bake Off; [3] no sound, only footage of Churchill Junior High, Wasatch Junior High, and Olympus Junior High, because of the closure; [4] volunteers sandbagging the river to prevent further flooding damage in Ogden Valley; [5] Dr. James Fletcher recommended to be NASA administrator by Jake Garn; [6] footage of trash collection, interview about it; [7] movie actor Robert Conrad being interviewed; [8] NASA Space Shuttle Challenger launch delay; [9] Allan McDonald profile, NASA engineer; [10] music video with children; [11] interview with family of Maurine Hunsaker, victim of Ralph Menzies; [12] footage of inside and outside the City and County Building; [13] segment about recreation without liability, and Parks and Recreation asking for insurance policy to cover runners, skiers, river runners; [14] footage of heavy equipment working on the Bountiful flooding; [15] presentation about air bags and its benefits; [16] segment about J. Gary Sheets and bankruptcy; [17] segment about Utah Jazz players Adrian Dantley and Karl Malone being fined by coach Frank Layden after Phoenix game; [18] interview about budget cuts in the museum, maybe The Leonardo; [19] Martin Luther King Jr. bill signing; [20] footage of people during St. Patrick's Day parade; [21] shopping carts with seatbelts for kids; [22] segment name is "Smoke-Free", but the footage has no sound and only images of cigarette brands; [23] segment is called "Utah Power and Light (UPL) Schlesinger"; [24] Hawaii volcano erupting, probably Kilauea at Hawaii Island; [25] people visiting children's hospital during Easter.
