Eccles, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, at the 42nd annual meeting of the National Association of Supervisors of State Banks, held in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 17, 1943. Includes a list of recipients of copies of the speech, and advance correspondence associated with Chairman Eccles's participation, as well as a preliminary program of the conference. One telegram by Eccles provides the title of the speech, "The dual system of banking." Also here is a copy of the resolution passed at the meeting thanking Eccles and other presenters, and a stenographic transcript of the opening remarks Eccles made.
