Description |
Lizzie and Floyd Brown standing in front of what was called the butcher shop or the ice cream parlor. The Snow brothers built the structure in 1927. It housed Riverside Mercantile, the Jensen Post Office, and, in the east side, an ice cream parlor. Henry Chatwin ran the store as well as the post office. In 1937, Cy and Thelma Nearing bought the store. They sold it to Curt Dudley in 1945. |
