William Freshwater & Son, General Merchandise, taken by the wet process some forty years ago. George Taylor, Sr., the present owner, was the photographer. Freshwater stands outside the store; his son William approaches. The large tree to the left was known as Shady Nook. Center Street and 200 West, Provo, looking southwest [actually southeast] from the roof of the G. Taylor Furniture Store in the late 1870s.
