Description Fort Duchesen became the gathering place for more than eight thousand people from all parts of eastern Utah for the seventeenth annual Uintah Basin Industrial Convention and Indian Fair. Indian exhibits, agriculture products, livestock and poultry were on display along arts, crafts and 4-H exhibits. Meetings were held on land and water conservation and agriculture benefits for the Uintah Basin land owners.
