Unformed (simple) hallucinations phosphenes (sensations of light) sparks, spots, streaks, geometric patterns, shapes, edges and angles Formed (canplex) hallucinations are images of recognized objects, animals, faces, landscapes, flowers, scenes and people. Chranatopsias are hallucinations in which the environment is uniformly tinted in a single color. Metachranatopsias color appears to change into another Macropsias and Micropsias - objects seen to be magnified or minified. Micropsias is often accompanied by Teleopsia, the sense that the minified object is far away. |
