The Western Federation of Watercolor Societies is a collective partnership amongst several Watercolor Societies in the Western United States. Every year this federation sponsors an annual juried exhibition of collage and water-based media. The sixth annual exhibition was hosted by Watercolor Society of South Texas at the Bayfront Plaza Auditorium. Barbara Nechis and Millard Sheets juried the show. The Best of the Show award winner was Street Musician II by Darleen Wellborn, a member of the New Mexico Watercolor Group. The First Award winner was Alterations by N. Blair Closson, a member of the Arizona Watercolor Association. |
