Show 11 We said we were even if we were tired of the car already and didn't want to get back in. It was seven or eight hours later when we got to Salt Lake City. We drove through streets we had never seen before and ended up at a house that was not our house. We must have looked disappointed, because mom asked what was wrong. When we asked whose house this was, she smiled and said it was ours. We said it wasn't our house because ours was white not brown and didn't have pine trees in front. Mom stopped smiling then and looked as tired as she had ever been. She sighed deeply before getting out of the car. She said we needed to hurry up. She said she needed us to be good boys. |
