Abstract US Army Foot Soldier's personal photograph showing the bombed out ruins as the US Army foot soldiers traveled through German towns. As the soldiers passed through the German towns, followed tanks close by. The soldiers would hitch a ride on a tank or Jeep whenever they could. The tanks always seemed to be covered with G.I.s.
