Abstract Canning (b. 1920) recalls his background in Wyoming, his experiences in WW II, his work at Brigham Young University during the administration of Ernest Wilkinson, and his career at the University of Utah in the Department of Sociology and as dean of the College of Arts and Letters during the 1960s.
