Address: 7136 So. 1700 East, Cottonwood Heights, UT. The building was constructed in 1959 for Calvary Lutheran Church, a Missouri Synod mission. That congregation disbanded in February of 1970. Sometime before 2000, Immanuel Christian Reformed Church moved from its Murray location to this address and changed its name to Mountain Springs Community Church. Update: In 2025, the church decided to disband due to declining numbers and the retirement of their pastor. They also voted to give the building to St. John's Anglican Church, which organized around 2014 and was looking for a home. Story in Salt Lake Tribune, Sept. 14, 2025, p. A8. |
