Arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (AAION) is the most common, but by no means the only cause of severe acute vision loss in giant cell arteritis (GCA). Here, we describe the rare case of a patient with biopsy-confirmed bilateral arteritic posterior ischemic optic neuropathy (APION). |
