Description |
Pipe, unfinished, material-gypsum, conical in shape. Length 3.25 in. Diameter 1 3/8 in. Found in duchesne County by Walter Atwood. Length 9.3 cm, width 4.2 cm. Tapered hole with definite grinding marks in large end-Diameter 1 cm, (1/2 in.) Depth 1.4 cm (5/8 in). This shoes both pecking and grinding--dark gray, very fine grained dense stone. Mr. Thorne called these objects unfinished pipes--perhaps because nothing else seemed appropriate. |
